Jennifer Barone is an Italian-American poet and artist. She is the author of three books of poetry, most recently Saporoso: Poems of Italian Food & Love (FeatherPress.org). She is known to collaborate with artists and musicians as founder and co-host of the monthly WordParty Poetry & Jazz Series (thewordparty.com). She is a winner of the 2007 and 2012 SF Public Library’s Poets Eleven contest for North Beach, and has been published in the Marin Poetry Center Anthology, Haight Ashbury Literary Journal, Quiet Lightning’s sPARKLE & bLINK and Accolades: A Women Who Submit Anthology. She has been a featured poet at Litquake, SFJAZZ Poetry Festival, SF Public Library, Red Poppy Art House, SFMoMa, DeYoung Museum, and the Beat Museum.
