Jordan Karnes is the author of It Hasn't Stopped Being California Here (Carville Annex Press) and More Silver Than Gold (Finishing Line Press), a collaboration with artist Heather Watson. Her work has appeared at 2016's Place Talks series, as well as in ElevenEleven Journal, The 2015 San Francisco Boog Reader, Transmission Journal, Explosion Proof Magazine, and McSweeney's. She received her MFA in Writing from California College of the Arts, and teaches creative writing at Oakland School for the Arts. She's currently working on a regular column focused on women and sports for Wolfman New Life Quarterly.
