Beth Spotswood is a columnist and writer for the San Francisco Chronicle, a regular contributor to SFist.com, and the Digital Director and Contributing Writer for the soon-to-launch quarterly magazine, the Journal of Alta California. Beth is an avid Bingo player, unapologetic reality television watcher, and owns a lot of furniture that used to belong to dead relatives. She's competed in and judged Literary Death Matches before - usually when someone better cancels at the last minute. Beth lives in San Francisco's Mission District with her husband and several hundred pounds of unfolded laundry.
