Jannie M. Dresser is a poet, editor, and teacher. Her book, Workers' Compensation: Poems of Labor & the Working Life, reflects her San Joaquin Valley roots and Bay Area gig-life. She holds a master’s from Mills College and teaches at OLLI-Concord and OLLI-Berkeley as well as in private workshops. She hosts poetry salons and publishes poetry through her Sugartown Publishing, now in its fifth year.
